KS1 Phonics Trial – £25 (single session)
All KS1 children begin with a Phonics Tutoring Trial.
The trial is a single 30-minute session. It allows me to assess your child’s phonics and early reading skills, observe how they engage with learning, and match them carefully with the most suitable Phonics Pals group.
Once your child has completed their trial, they will join a small, carefully matched group designed to make phonics fun, supportive, and effective. I personally curate each group so children are placed where they can feel confident and thrive.

Our Phonics Pals groups use the trusted Jigsaw Phonics Programme for reading and spelling, with added Leap Into Literacy activities to support writing and spelling confidence.
KS1 Phonics Pals Group Sessions – £25 per child, per session
One weekly 30-minute small-group lesson as standard.
🚀 For some children, attending two sessions per week can support faster progress, particularly where extra repetition or confidence-building is helpful.
All KS1 learners begin with a Phonics Tutoring Trial, giving parents clear feedback and helping us find the best small group for your child.
💡Our phonics tutoring groups are primarily designed for Year 1 children.
Some Year 2 children who need extra support with phonics, spelling, or writing may also benefit from learning in a small group.

KS1 Phonics Pals group sessions run after school between 4:45–6:30 pm (UK time), Tuesday–Thursday.
Places in these small groups are limited, and children are carefully matched so they can learn confidently alongside others at a similar stage.
