KS1 Phonics Tutor for Growing Readers
Small-Group Phonics Support for KS1 Children

Fun, structured phonics support for growing readers aged 5-7.
My small online Phonics Pals groups help children grow in confidence with phonics and reading through engaging, carefully matched lessons.
Phonics Pals groups are mainly designed for Year 1 children. Some Year 2 children who are continuing to build confidence with longer words, spelling patterns, and tricky phonics sounds may also be a good fit.

What Are KS1 Phonics Pals?
Phonics Pals are small online phonics groups for growing KS1 readers led by a phonics tutor and reading specialist.
Children are carefully matched by phonics stage, confidence, and learning style so they feel supported from the very beginning.
Lessons include practical, hands-on learning to help children build their confidence with phonics. Children learn strategies for reading and spelling trickier words.
Is This Right for My Child?
KS1 Phonics Pals may be a good fit if your child:
🧩 knows many sounds but still finds reading tricky
🧩 needs more confidence with tricky words or longer words
🧩 would benefit from stronger phonics strategies for reading
🧩 enjoys learning alongside other children
🧩 is comfortable learning in a small online group setting
KS1 Trial Lesson
£25 | 30-minute online session
🧩All KS1 learners begin with a phonics trial.
The trial is a single 30-minute online session. It includes a short phonics check and a fun phonics game to help build rapport and assess group fit.
It helps me understand your child’s reading and phonics skills and carefully match them with the most suitable Phonics Pals group.
